For the return to Sadness Town following an 11-month government shutdown, David is joined by his friend Johnny Fantastic of DC-based electronic music outfit Stronger Sex. On this episode, recorded at the Songbyrd Music House & Record Cafe in Washington, DC, Johnny and David discuss Christian rock music and mom jazz, and take Bob Dylan's kid to task for some poor life decisions.
About Sadness Town:
Sadness Town is a live talk show for anyone who's ever been cleaning their room, found an old mix CD, put it on and then immediately regretted that decision. Every episode, comedian David Tveite invites one of his funny friends to bring a playlist of music they were into in high school to be played in front of a live audience. They swap stories and riffs, wallow in embarrassment, and start a lot of sentences with "Do you remember when?" Episodes are recorded live every month.
